From the desk of Bob Smith

From the desk of Bob Smith…
There's a beautiful song entitled “A baby changes everything.” Now there's a place in Huntington that changes the lives of babies. Lily's Place is a new pediatric addiction recovery center for newborn babies. It's another new giant plus for our community. Using a time tested method and the very latest in weaning techniques, Lily's Place will ease addicted babies from their mother's drugs and give them the best care available. In case you're wondering, the name of this new non-profit organization was inspired from the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 12, verse 27. It says, “Look at the Lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautiful as they are.”

What's more beautiful than a new born baby? Lily's Place is a one stop center for the entire family. The trained staff will not only minister to the baby but will spend time getting to know the baby's parents, grandparents and caregivers with the overwhelming conviction of moving the family towards a healthy outcome. The new facility features seventeen, beautifully decorated nurseries that are providing a peaceful environment for healing to take place. Obviously Lily's Place can be wildly successful if it receives financial support from our community. Please be in touch with the new center through Facebook at www.Facebook.com/Addicted_Babies or through www.Twitter.com/Addicted_Babies. All gifts are tax deductible.
